A-eon informs first batch of x1000 (rev2) is available to betatester. The AmigaOne X1000 is not like other computers. It is the natural evolution of the Amiga's PowerPC lineage and is based on the über cool, PA-Semi Dual-core PA6T-1682M CPU, it includes Xena, a "Software Defined Silicon" co-processor, and above all it runs the latest version of the AmigaOS. |

Hyperion Entertainment and A-EON have entered into a strategic partnership to provide the Amiga community with a dedicated high-end PowerPC based platform for AmigaOS 4.x which aspires to be worthy of the Amiga hardware tradition going back to the original Amiga 1000 from Commodore.
