natami2Natami project is finally online: production of developer boards is planned for Summer 2008

The basic concept is straight: Get the Amiga up-to-date.
The concept is to archive this by hardware only means, NO software emulation of the hardware parts.
The concept is the project name: Native Amiga .
The goal is to build a succeeding Amiga model. Keeping the original philosophy - but not the limitations.
The project is still on updating status but the hope to see a revolutionary board such as 90s commodore machines really deserve a close look.

Developer board NATAMI should follow with below specification:

- 16 MB high performance Chipmem
- 68060 CPU (up to 90 MHz for CPU and BUS speed)
- 256 MB Fastmem

natami2 NATAMI Specification:
- GFX: SuperAGA chipset on board (Compatible to AGA but enhancing it)
- Supported Resolutions: 320x256 - 1280x1024
- Supported Pixelformats: Planar 1-8 Planes, HAM 6/8, 8bit Chunky, 16bit Hicolor, 32bit Truecolor
- Chip Audio SuperPaula (up to 16 bit)
- SVideo-in and Audio-in, Copper (including original AGA copper), Blitter (Fully compatible with AGA-AMIGA but many times faster), 2D and 3D enhancements.
Slot PCI and CPU expansion slot.

Natami is the next generation AMIGA that Commodore would have brought out if they would not went belly up. We really hope to see something soon then.
