VBA

Visual Basic for Application (VBA) is a Visual Basic implementation (object oriented language derived from the simple Basic) included into Microsoft applications such as Office suite, Visio or other programs (with a partial implementation).
VBA extends previous application scripting languages and allows the control of all these programs characteristics such as the user interface (menu, toolbars etc), content managemente and data exchange.
Even if VBA is not independent and not useful to create stand-alone applications it guarantee however a certain level of autonomy and interoperability between applications (you can create a Word script for example starting from an excell macro).

In this section you can find scripts, macro and VBA examples linked to the most common Microsoft applications as well as simple and general programming examples not linked to any specific host environment.
