New update and improvements for the AmigaOS open source AROS clone

Some bugs have been fixed: in the installer (InstallAros), RTL8139 ethernet driver and the file preference notification.

A SDL driver for hosted linux version has been compiled making the system server-X independent (also for the compiling and installing procedure). AROS porting should now be possible on whatevery system with a SDL support.

The ptplay.library has been also ported. This library allows the famous Protraker audio modules to be converted. The small ShellPlayer program has also been ported.

The Warp3D library porting has just started. The aim is to reach the compatibility with the famous AmigaOS 68040 Warp3D.library to make Amiga 3D game porting easier and faster. This library can also work in software rendering mode without a 3d graphic board.

Improvements also on the x86-64 AROS version (the AROS 64bit PC version).

AROS Reserach Operating System is a lightweight, efficient and flexible desktop operating system, designed to help you make the most of your computer. It's an independent, portable and free project, aiming at being compatible with AmigaOS 3.1 at the API level (like Wine, unlike UAE), while improving on it in many areas. The source code is available under an open source license, which allows anyone to freely improve upon it.
