 The new SDHC 16 GB card has been launched by Transcend and is one of the first that meets the Class 6 requirement with this capacity (Class 6 devices have a minimum of 6MB/s data write speed). Class 6 is the fastest transfer speed provided with 2.0 SD specifics based on SDHC standard (the other ones are 2 and 4, representing again writing speed). This standard has also the FAT32 file-system support, required for partitions more than 2 GB.
Among the other features the Error Correcting Code (EEC) detecting and fixing (where possible) data transfer errors. |
